The 17 th Annual Sports Day of Sophia International Academy was held on 6 th December .
The day began with a solemn prayer and prayer song, setting the tone for a day of excitement and competition. The March Past by the students was a spectacular display of discipline and teamwork.
The Torch Bearing ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship, was carried out by the Sports Minister.Miss.Radhika Tudu. It was followed by the Declaration of the Sports Day open by the Chief Guest, Shri Ajith Kumar, Secretary ,Housing Co operative Society, Nedumkunnam
The Oath Taking ceremony, led by the Sports Minister, pledged to uphold the values of fair play and sportsmanship.
The Drill performance by the students showcased their coordination and synchronization. The Track and Field events, including sprints, jumps, and throws, witnessed intense competition among the participants.
The Basketball Match between the school teams was a thrilling encounter.
The Prize Distribution ceremony recognized the achievements of the winners, with the Chief Guest awarding medals and trophies to the deserving students.
The Chief Guest , Shri. Ajith Kumar, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of sports in developing physical and mental well-being.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, proposed by the Head Boy, Master. Muhammad Firoz, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, teachers and students for making the event a success.
